Belgrade, (SANA)_ The Serbian TV Channel RTS 1 aired a program about Syria titled " Postal Card from Syria" where it showcased a fascinating Damascene dawn and roamed the beautiful alleys.
The program showcased the charming beauty of Damascus night, describing it as the global city in which the past and present are mixed without affecting its modernity and originality.
Then the camera moved to Bosra in Daraa governorate, southern Syria, speaking about its great ancient theatre with a detailed explanation on the annual Bosra International Festival.
The program touched upon some of the mosques, which are still maintain the old Islamic architecture, stating that Bosra was a center of trade caravans and convoys of pilgrimage heading for and returning from Mecca.
The program spoke about the wonderful Roman art and the water supplying system , which was covering the needs of the entire population of the city.
In 2010, about 20 episodes on Syria were shot to be broadcast by the Serbian channels and internet websites.
